"All right, so this is how we get snow in L.A.," Aguilera can be heard saying in another video, in which Rutler giddily unleashes a torrent of fake snow into the couple's sunny, palm tree-laden backyard with the help of a giant snow machine.
Just days before the holiday, the singer rang in her 40th birthday with a chic photoshoot and reflective post. "This ever-present social stigma exists around getting older, but I have ALWAYS embraced it!" she wrote, dismissing the stigma of crossing the major milestone. "I am forever an old soul and I appreciate the wisdom, grace and beauty that comes with each new year of life."
While Aguilera normally prefers to keep her relationship with Rutler away from the prying eyes of social media, the couple have been together since 2010, where they met on the set of Burlesque, and have been engaged since 2014. That same year, the star gave birth to daughter Summer Rain, while she shares son Max with ex husband Jordan Bratman.
