It's over for Matthew Perry and his fiancée, Molly Hurwitz.
The "Friends" star, 51, confirmed the news to People magazine.
"Sometimes things just don't work out and this is one of them," he said in a statement. "I wish Molly the best."
According to the outlet, the actor and Hurwitz, 29, began dating in 2018 and became engaged in November 2020.

"I decided to get engaged," Perry told People at the time. "Luckily, I happened to be dating the greatest woman on the face of the planet at this time."
Perry hadn't shared a photo of Hurwitz on social media until December 2020 when he posted two photos of Hurwitz wearing his limited-edition apparel collection inspired by "Friends" to support COVID-19 relief.
"You don't have to pose this way while wearing the shirt, but please feel free," he captioned the first photo of the literary manager.
In the second photo, Hurwitz is wearing a hat with the slogan, "What is this, a baseball cap?" All the lines are inspired by Perry's iconic character, Chandler Bing.
Perry previously dated actress Lizzy Caplan from 2006 to 2012.
A rep for the actor did not immediately respond to Fox News' request for comment.
The news of the breakup comes just days after the release of "Friends: The Reunion" on HBO Max, which saw Perry reunite with his former co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer to reminisce on the hit sitcom.
Upon the release of the special's first trailer, fans became concerned for his health and wellbeing when he was seen choking up and slurring his words.

The reunion's director, Ben Winston, slammed the star's critics and said that there was nothing wrong with him whatsoever.

"He was great," Winston said on The Hollywood Reporter’s podcast "TV’s Top Five" recently (via E! News). "People can sometimes just be unkind. I wish they weren't. I loved working with him. He's a brilliantly funny man and I thought he had some great one-liners in the show. I felt just happy and lucky to be in his presence and directing him on something like this."
